Acquisition of energy drink business

  • About the project

    It started with a full HR Due Diligence (DD) of a leading gaming/energy booster drink business in Germany in 2021, followed by the acquisition and integration process in the 2 years afterwards

  • Scope

    DD focused on assessment of leadership capability, payroll & organisation, benefits, culture, functional knowledge & talent and strength of the HR function. The integration aimed for realizing synergies between Glanbia and LevlUp

  • Progress

    Develop the local leadership team, identify and implement synergies for the key back-office functions, strengthen the local talent pool, share HR best practice and help enhance the partnership overall to leverage expertise between the two businesses and optimise the collaboration

  • Impact

    Strong leadership and team in place, successful integration of the Supply Chain and Technology functions, organizational efficiency and a wider offer of products and sales channels for our customers which makes this scale-up business sustainable in the long run
