Interim HR track record

  • Interim HR Director at Just Brands on parttime basis to strengthen the HR team, professionalize the HR function overall and to represent HR in the Executive Management Team. June 2024 - present.

  • Interim HR Lead at Yanmar BV on a parttime basis to build up the HR function from scratch and build this new team; between March 2024 and July 2024. References available on request.

  • Between September and December 2020 I made a sideways step at Body&Fit when I led the Marketing team on an interim basis. I focussed on stabilizing the team, rebranding and digital marketing to optimise trade results before we onboarded our new VP.

  • At Body&Fit I joined as HR leader with the immediate assignment to move the head office location from Heerenveen to Amsterdam within 6 months (2019-2020), comparable with an interim assignment. My team managed to overcome real challenges in this period, such as the COVID lockdown, and realized this transformation whilst laying out a clear strategic people plan for the longer term. The outcome and change management process were praised by Glanbia’s executive team.

  • At adidas Eastern Europe (2007) I started as HR leader in a totally different cultural context and yet having to solve recruitment challenges at once. Within 6 months I managed to win the trust of the Executive Team and my own HR team by realizing quick wins in recruitment, by learning the local language and by taking a humble listening and learning approach. In the first half of 2008 I was awarded as best HR Employee by the CEO.
